About Our 3D Printed Products

What material are the products made from?

​

All of our products are made from eco-friendly PLA filament. PLA (Polylactic Acid) is a biodegradable thermoplastic derived from renewable resources such as corn starch or sugarcane. It is one of the most commonly used materials in 3D printing thanks to its strength, ease of printing, attractive finish, and environmentally friendly properties.

Why can I see lines in my product?

​

Because 3D printing builds objects layer by layer, fine lines may be visible on the surface. These are not defects but a natural characteristic of the additive manufacturing process.

While we work hard at 3D Print Mania to optimise our settings for the smoothest and highest-quality finish, these subtle layer lines give each piece its own unique character.

Who designs the products you sell?

We offer a mix of:

• Original 3D Print Mania designs, created in-house

• Licensed designs from talented, reputable creators such as
  SLTFLIX, and others (credited individually on each product page)

 

While the models are licensed, we carefully choose the colours, sizes, materials, and print settings to produce high-quality, durable 3D printed toys.

Product Care

Warping / Softening

PLA can soften when exposed to high heat. To keep your product in perfect condition:

• Do not leave it in direct sunlight, especially in a hot car

• Do not place it near heaters or radiators

• Do not clean it in a dishwasher or expose it to hot water

Heat exposure may cause the product to warp or deform.

Breakage

Some 3D printed products—especially articulated toys—contain small or delicate joints that must be handled with care.

To avoid damage:

​

• Do not drop the product

• Avoid bending or twisting joints excessively

• Keep articulated models away from young children, as they may break if mishandled

Although PLA is durable, it is not indestructible.

Shipping

We aim to dispatch orders within 1–2 business days.

​

Products are shipped using reliable UK services, such as:

• Royal Mail Tracked

• Royal Mail 1st Class / 2nd Class

• Evri

• DPD

Shipping costs and delivery times vary depending on your location and the method chosen at checkout. Once dispatched, you will receive a tracking number to follow your parcel’s progress.

For international orders, additional customs duties, taxes, or handling fees may apply depending on your country’s regulations.

Eligible Returns

We accept returns if:

• Item(s) arrive damaged or defective

• Incorrect item(s) were received

How to Initiate a Return

• A description of the issue

• Photo evidence (if applicable)

Once we approve your return, we will provide instructions on how to send the item back.
